I’m back to Barcelona after spending some long time at the Basque Country and Seignosse, now I’ll be some weeks here where I have a saturated time with different projects.
I want to thanks all the people that I met during this month, specially Argi, Nora and all his friends and Marine and her bro Aymerich who was taking me out to surf around. Eskerri kasko et merci!
Last weeks I’ve been spending my dead time, this means some nights and weekends, making a complete update of Gimmicklab portfolio’s. Now you will see in our portfolio all the whole package of selected works and a complete work timeline, for me is huge and a satisfaction looking at the amount of work that we dealed through the last years.
We’ll blog about during this weekend when the update will be online.
As some of you may know actually i’m in the basque country, just getting a nice flow between working and this place.
I will let you know as things will come, but right now i’m just taking some time here focused starting a new project and making things clean to get the time that I need focusing in the next challenge.
I always loved the possibility to work with my laptop wherever I want, and now i’m just enjoying it.
I’m in a slow publish mood but as i said before I just will let you know about the things in the right time.
But keep this idea, we soon will come with great news.
As we announced today at Gimmicklab’s blog we just released a new site for Dex Import.
The crew behind Dex Import is now working uploading images, so now maybe you get a nice no-image for some articles, the pictures are on his way and they shouldn’t need a lot of time to be online.
Just check the site, is builded with Cake Framework and looks pretty semantically and runs with a nice performance on server. Now we should wait some days to see the results on the search engines.

As some of you may know Arturo is working in Berlin from may focused in a new design and interface for Jovoto.
Well, after some months of hard work the new version has been released and I can say that you are going to appreciate the change.
The interface is totally new, a new way to navigate the site that makes your interaction simple and smooth. just check it for yourself.
I’m proud of this work even I not being personally involved in the everyday development, but checking both sites, the new and the older, and being objective about our mission in this project I can say that we’ve accomplished the goals that the team putted in the start, far better.
So what’s more on Jovoto? I know that this is just the start and they are focused increasing performance, usability, functionality and polishing the interface.
So from now I can say that we’ll follow working on this project trying to make it better just in the same way like now.
This means that half Gimmicklab it’s going to be in Berlin for some months more, for us it feels pretty exciting being in this adventure and it’s going so smooth so let’s see the how it runs.
