This evening I just learned why I spent almost 6 years studying law. I remember being in exams season, studying 14 hours a day in the biblio and arriving at home at 1am so tired, with my head burning law articles and infinite classifications. And then turning on the computer and freeing my mind designing and coding something until late. Then I was ready to go to bed and make my exam on the next day.
And this evening I just realised when both sides are going to connect, and I’m going for it.

Quiero presentar a mi hermana pequeña, Susy Sans.

We used to build our projects on top of CakePHP, but after playing with Code Igniter and Expression Engine we decided to give it a try in a commercial project.
The first one has been with Hydroponic, and after the experience we are totally delighted with the switch, and from now we will use the elasticity and power of Code Igniter and Expression Engine for almost every project.
At Gimmicklab we master custom PHP and MySQL, but we also like to take advantages using frameworks for custom development. After playing and building multiple sites using different platforms such as Cake, Wordpress, Expression Engine, Code Igniter, Ruby on rails, Joomla, Magento or Oscommerce here are our choices for web development.

We just will do a break until early September. It’s been a long ride this year and now it’s time to stop for some weeks.
I’m already since July at the Basque Country or/and France, working with a better weather and waves than in Barcelona. The Hydroponic summer week was my only week at the city this summer and I’m not coming back until it’s cooler ;)
I will took two more days just finnishing The Conquistadors Collective site and Ibai’s portfolio, that are already almost cooked and then I’ll will stay away from computers traveling around with Arturo and friends.
Thanks to my summer support crew here at Algorta (Argi and Dani) and Seignosse (Marine) to give me some internet powa! Here it feels so nice.
